Community Music Jam (Pride Fest 2021)

UP Center Pride Fest Jam Poster.png

This year is the 40th anniversary of the declaration of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, and much like the current COVID-19 pandemic, people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) and their caregivers have experienced many losses and heartaches along the way. The intent of this community music jam is to create a space to grieve, to celebrate, to find motivation to persevere, and to find peace and comfort in community.

This event is being held Saturday, September 25, 2021, from 10am to 11am at the Community Center for the Arts (202 West Main Street, Urbana). Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required to participate in this event.
