How it works:


It can be hard to reach out for help, especially when it comes to your mental health. We want to make the process as easy and comfortable as possible. To help ease your anxiety, here’s what to expect throughout the treatment process:

  1. Contact us to set up a consultation session (via Zoom).

  2. Have a conversation about your needs and desired outcomes to see how music can play a role in your journey.

  3. If you wish to proceed, schedule your next appointment and be on your way to strengthen your mental and emotional wellness!

1. Set up a consultation.


Fill out the contact form with as much information as you’re comfortable sharing. Within 24 hours, we will reach out to you with a questionnaire and set up an initial consultation session over Zoom. If you do not wish to download the free Zoom software, we will work with you on an alternative method of communication, including Google Hangouts, Microsoft Teams, or even a phone call.

2. Have a conversation.


Our initial conversation will be centered on your unique mental health concerns, your desired treatment outcomes, and your personal interests and experiences with music. Believe it or not, you don’t need to be a musician to benefit from music therapy! This conversation is meant to be informal; not only are we learning about you to see if you might benefit from music therapy, you are also learning about us to see if you feel comfortable and excited to continue working together!

3. Schedule your next appointment (if you want).


If we determine that you may benefit from music therapy services — and you decide that you want to continue working together — we’ll schedule your first session! There is absolutely no obligation to continue services, and you can terminate services at any time. If you do decide to move forward with treatment (and we hope you do), we will send you some additional paperwork to help us make a plan for your mental wellness goals.
