New Parent Musical Support Group Interest Survey
Are you expecting your first child and looking for support in navigating this new stage in your life? Are you interested in exploring the different thoughts and feelings that come with expecting your first child (and are open to exploring them musically)? Do you live in the Champaign-Urbana area?
Consider being part of a pilot musical support group for new parents in the C-U area! Participation for the first round is limited to ten people and is open to all non-birthing parents regardless of age, race, gender identity, or where you are in your pregnancy journey.
Goals for this support group include:
Identifying, expressing, and managing emotions that arise in new parents during pregnancy
Identifying ways to practice emotional self-care to best support yourself, your partner, and your future family
Build a community of like-minded caregivers that you can turn to for support throughout the pregnancy and after your child’s birth
