Musical Support Group for Health Care Workers Survey

Are you a health care worker experiencing burn out? Are you feeling irritable, run down, and like you’ve lost all interest and passion for your work? Are you looking for emotional support through musical engagement and experiences? Do you live in the Champaign-Urbana area?

Consider being part of a pilot musical support group specifically for health care workers and medical professionals. Participation for this first round is limited to ten people and is open to anyone who works or has worked as an essential health care worker, including doctors, nurses, specialty providers (like respiratory therapists, etc.), and support staff on the front lines of health care.

Goals for this group include:

  • Creating a sense of community and a space to fully experience, release, and manage thoughts and emotions related to the stressors of the COVID-19 pandemic,

  • Promoting rest and relaxation in a musical space to alleviate stress and anxiety, and

  • Regaining a sense of hope in your life and sense of purpose and passion in your career.
